Gigglin' Pig is an outdoor furniture store and shed builder in Caledonia, NY. The company says it opened its store here on April 1, 1993. It describes itself as family-owned, now in its third generation.
Go for two things: hardwood furniture indoors and Amish-built sheds outdoors. The business states its showroom covers 12,500 square feet. Its website says more than 80 sheds and structures stand on site.
Caledonia logs 6554 heating degree days and 573 cooling degree days a year, per NOAA normals for 1991-2020. Plan your trip for Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm, since it is closed Sunday.
Start with the furniture. The company says its pieces are solid hardwood, made in Indiana and Ohio by 110 Amish builders. Ask about wood type, stain and style, because the website says its specialists can customize any piece.
Check the other rooms too. The business names upholstered seating, poly outdoor pieces and mattresses among what it sells. Its tagline names American-made Smith Brothers upholstery.
Then walk out to the sheds. The company describes structures that run from small sheds up to barns and garages. Try the 3D shed builder on its website first, so you arrive with a size in mind.
Know what past buyers say. The store holds a 5.0 rating across 385 reviews. Reviewers most often praise the shed delivery, with crews leveling the building and fitting it into tight spots. Several also say staff kept them updated from order to drop-off, and one reviewer says delivery was held until the site was ready.
Before you order, walk the outdoor lot and step inside a few sheds to compare sizes and doors in person.
